Here you enter the Dimension which you want to use for your Collections.
Normally a separate Dimension is used for Collections but you can use any of your existing Dimension Codes. Just be aware that the program will act differently if you use either Global Dimension 1 Code or Global Dimension 2 Code for your Collections.
If you use Global Dimension 1 Code or Global Dimension 2 Code
for Collections, the global dimension code in question will at the
order line be filled in with the Collection No.
when you create a Sales Order or a Purchase Order using
Collection. In this case the global dimension code cannot be changed manually.
Similarly the Global Dimension 1 Code or
Global Dimension 2 Code used for
Collections will be filled in when you add Collection No. to an Order Type.
It is important that you do not create Dimension Values related to the Collection Dimension. They will be created automatically when you create your Collections.
