Specifies the type of supply order that is created by the planning system when the item needs to be replenished. The following options exist:
- Purchase - to supply the item with a purchase order.
- Prod. Order - to supply the item with a production order.
- Assembly - to supply the item with an assembly order.

TRIMIT Add-on:
With TRIMIT you have an additional option called Automatic. If you use this option, a Production Order will be created to replenish the inventory if a BOM is related to the Item or Master.
