Function

User Defined Category

With this Type you can create a level which can carry a sub structure.
This is an alternative to creating a Category and will only be a structure level related to the current Category.

Category

By selecting this Type you can attach an already defined Category as a sub structure. This enables the usage of categories in several levels and different Category structures.

Item

This Type allows you to specify an Item from your Item List. An Item level cannot have sub levels attached directly but via the Next Level function the program will present the possibility of creating one underlying level of the Type Accessories, Complementary Items or Related Bought Items. These options are used on the B2C portal framework to promote Items under the specified conditions.

Order Configured Item

This Type is equal to the Type Item but will only find Items which have selectable configurations attached.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Inventory Configured Item

This Type is equivalent to the Type Order Configured Item. The only difference is that when the configuration is completed, a unique Item No. expressing the configuration will be created if it does not already exist.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Matrix

This Type specifies a matrix. The possible Item selections are only Masters with a matrix attached and you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup. The standard Sales Agent/B2B portals will navigate to a specific product page which handles matrix sales. In the B2C portal framework a matrix is transformed into selecting from the Y- and X-axes.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Assortment Matrix

With this Type you can only select Masters with an assortment matrix attached. The Assortment Items will be shown in a matrix and you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup.

Create Variant Combinations

With this Type you can select Masters. The structure level itself will at runtime automatically create and show all valid combinations displayed as Items.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

NOTE:
If at runtime the possible combinations count a hundred or more, performance may decrease.

Collection

This Type allows you to select a Collection. All Masters/ Items related to the Collection will automatically be populated at runtime. When a Collection has been selected, you must decide how you want the Items to be sold. You can choose between Item, Order Configured Item, Inventory Configured Item, Matrix and Assortment Matrix. If you select Matrix or Assortment Matrix, you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Global
Dimension 1

This Type allows runtime filtering on Global Dimension 1 Code. All Masters/ Items related to the selected Global Dimension 1 Code value will be shown on this Category structure level. When a Global Dimension 1 has been selected, you have to decide how you want the Items to be sold. You can choose between Item, Order Configured Item, Inventory Configured Item, Matrix and Assortment Matrix. If you select Matrix or Assortment Matrix, you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Global
Dimension 2

This Type allows runtime filtering on Global Dimension 2 Code. All Masters/ Items related to the selected Global Dimension 2 Code value will be shown on this Category structure level. This Type allows filtering on Statistics Group values. At runtime the Category level is populated either by Items or by Masters with the related value.
When a Statistics Group has been selected, you must decide how you want the Items to be sold. You can choose between Item, Order Configured Item, Inventory Configured Item, Matrix and Assortment Matrix. If you select Matrix or Assortment Matrix, you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup.
On the next level which is the last possible level you can only attach Accessories, Complementary Items and Related Bought Items.

Item Statistics
Group 2

This Type allows filtering on Item Statistics Group 2 values. At runtime the Category level is populated either by Items or by Masters with the related value.
When an Item Statistics Group 2 has been selected, you must decide how you want the Items to be sold. You can choose between Item, Order Configured Item, Inventory Configured Item, Matrix and Assortment Matrix. If you select Matrix or Assortment Matrix, you will be able to use the Matrix Limitation Setup.
