Category Management is a tool to support sales activities on the standard TRIMIT Portals. It provides users of TRIMIT an easy and familiar approach to publish and maintain product availability on their web site. The structure build will provide web users a logical and easy navigation to products.
The Category List is where categories are created and maintained. You
can go to the Category Card if you want to add a Description 2 or change the Search Description.
From both the list and the card you have the same possibilities of attaching
Category Lines as well as adding comments,
Pictures and Descriptions in foreign Languages.
When selecting Category Lines, you have to choose between Show Category Structure
and Maintain Category Lines. The first option will show an overview of the entire
Category structure starting with the Category from where
you choose to show the Category structure.
The second option Maintain Category Lines will open the Category Lines
at the first underlying level.
If you have set a check mark in some of the Do not Show on First Level fields of the Category List, you can use the Show All Categories and Hide Categories Underlying Levels functions to toggle between showing the list with or without these marked categories.
