The Extended Location Management enables you to attach Locations to records in two relation groups. Items and Masters belong to the
Relation Name 1 group and Customers,
Territorys and Country/Regions belong to the Relation 2 group.
Single records or combinations of records from these two relation groups will determine
the primary Location in different situations like Sales Lines,
Purchase Lines etc.
You can further specify your Extended Location Management setup by entering a Bin Code in addition to the Location Code.
Note:
The Location Code in an order line of the type Matrix
will always be transferred to the related Item lines, even though different
Location Codes might be attached directly to some of the Items.
It is important that you are aware of this when you set up your
Extended Location Management.
